If we consider that, as well as the fact that the new model came with some pretty significant changes, it’s pretty much that the 2024 Lexus RX 350 won’t feature bigger changes. Once again, the build quality is excellent – everything is assembled extremely well, while attention to detail is impressive.
Thanks to the longer wheelbase, we’ve also seen slight improvements in terms of passenger space, so there’s no doubt that the 2024 Lexus RX 350 will continue in the same way. The new generation comes exclusively as a five-seater and offers a couple of comfortable and spacious rows of seats, which accommodate adults with ease. Traditionally, the RX offers some of the best front seats in the class. They are comfy and supportive, with lots of adjustability options.
On the other hand, the cargo area is probably the weakest point of this SUV. You may count on no more than 30 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and 46.2 cubic feet of the total cargo volume, which is way too low for a mid-size SUV.
Features
We presume that the 2024 Lexus RX 350 might get a few updates in this aspect but most things will certainly remain the same. Therefore, base models should already come equipped very well, with things like a 9.8-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, HD Radio, satellite radio, a 12-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, six USB ports, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster, keyless entry, push-button start, multi-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting.

The recent redesign also brought big changes under the hood. The good-old 3.5-liter V6 had to go and the replacement came in the form of a smaller and more efficient turbo-four engine. We are talking about a familiar 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four, which features a max output of 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Driving dynamics are pretty good, while we also like the 8-speed automatic transmission, which shifts quickly and feels very refined.
Base models come with an FWD layout, while all-wheel drive is available. When it comes to fuel economy, models with front-wheel drive return around 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, which is excellent for a luxury mid-size SUV. Models with all-wheel drive are slightly thirstier, with 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, which is still a great rating for the class.
