2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR Facelift

Thanks to a new spy shot, we have a clear look at what the new 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR will look like. Land Rover reveals that this SUV will be underpinned by the new MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) platform. The platform is strong and is designed to fit both internal combustion and electric powertrains. It is also worth mentioning that the platform is much lighter than the D7 platform it replaces.

The front fascia of the prototype looks aggressive, and the manufacturer added a new diffuser integrated into the rear fascia. Overall, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR is a great choice if you’re looking for a high-performance SUV that’s reliable.

Sporty Interior

The cabin of the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR offers quality materials where leather and trim pieces dominate. Leather seating is standard, and the manufacturer offers a vegan-friendly Ultrafabric material as an option. Like the regular model, the new high-performance SUV has seating for seven, but with an extra inch of legroom in the second row. As for technology, the new SUV comes standard with a gauge display, flanked by a 13.1-inch infotainment touchscreen.

Safety is another great thing, and the SVR includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, driver drowsiness monitor, lane-keeping assist, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition and speed limit control, and blind-spot monitors.

Engine Specs

The upcoming Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR is one of the most powerful SUVs in its class. The regular Range Rover Sport uses a very proven BMW’s twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 that is capable of producing 523 hp. However, don’t expect power to reach 600 hp in the SVR version.

The current model comes with a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that is able to dish out 575 hp. Besides the more powerful engine compared to the regular Sport model, the SVR also benefits from tweaks to the transmission and suspension.

When Will the New 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR Be Available?

The new Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR will debut next year, probably in the second quarter of the year. As far as we know, this SUV will start at $145,000, which is $4000 more compared to the outgoing variant.

Rivals that are in the same class as the Range Rover Sport SVR are models such as the Audi RS Q8, BMW X6 M, and Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 63 Coupe. Also, we must mention the amazing Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupe models as well.
