The all-new 2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV is officially coming next year. As far as we know, the forthcoming SUV will utilize a new full-electric powertrain and an all-new chassis. We also got information that the EV model will be based on the long-wheelbase variant, which should allow three rows of seating. Besides a more attractive design, the Land Rover Range Rover EV will introduce a very comfortable cabin with enough room for up to seven passengers.

Unfortunately, Land Rover hasn’t released much details of its fully electric Range Rover yet, but we can expect it to come with a new multilink suspension setup, reducing some extra room for the battery and rear-wheel steering system.

2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV Design

According to many reports, the 2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV will ride on a new Modular Longitudinal Architecture platform, the same that will be used on the next-gen Range Rover Sport. However, in terms of styling, we don’t expect the new EV to differ too much from the PHEV model.

The exterior should continue to be premium and rugged. Its sleek lines and sharp light signature make this SUV look luxurious, just like the unique “floating roof” design. We’re expecting to see a unique closed grille and attractive 23-inch alloy wheels, which are so far available as optional. As for size, the EV should be smaller than the Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Escalade.

More Technologies Inside

Considering that the forthcoming 2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV rides on a completely different platform, expect more room inside. As far as we know, the new model will come with three rows of seats, offering room for seven passengers. It should also introduce better quality and more technologies compared to the non-EV model.

So, expect a very large infotainment system and many new gadgets. The current Range Rover comes with the latest Pivi Pro system paired with a 13.1-inch screen. It also supports Amazon Alexa, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Meridian premium audio.

Motor Setup

The fifth-generation SUV will reportedly ride on a new Modular Longitudinal Architecture platform, which was designed to carry large batteries. As far as we know, the same platform will be also available on the next-gen Range Rover Sport. So, customers can expect at least one electric motor at each axle. Thanks to that, the Land Rover Range Rover EV should provide a range of around 300 miles and a power output of at least 600 horsepower.

In case you didn’t know, the current Range Rover is powered by a new 3.0-liter inline-6 paired with a 38.2-kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 434 horsepower. Land Rover claims that it can range around 62 miles on the EV model.

2024 Land Rover Range Rover EV Release Date, Price

A fully electric version of the Range Rover EV will debut sometime next year as a 2024 model. Unfortunately, Land Rover hasn’t released pricing or any other details of its upcoming fully electric Range Rover yet.

Anyway, we expect the new all-electric SUV to cost around $120,000 for the SE model, while HSE could start at $140,000, and Autobiography at $160,000.
