The 2024 Ford Bronco will represent the fourth production year of the revived generation and it looks like the company is already preparing for a mid-cycle refresh. It looks like the Blue Oval Company wants to keep things rolling and continue with frequent updates, which will make this SUV even more appealing. of course,  the upcoming updates should be mostly in terms of aesthetics, while the longer list of standard equipment also seems like a very possible thing.

On the other hand, the overall layout won’t change, and we are about to see the same pros and cons of the Wrangler’s arch-rival. So, you may count on an excellent off-roader and surprisingly nice on-road manners. Furthermore, the cabin looks nice and comes equipped with lots of tech and convenience features, while the amount of passenger and cargo space is pretty generous too.

Considering the possible update, we might see a little bit earlier arrival than usual, though still within the second half of the year.

So, what we might see in the next year is a typical mid-cycle refresh, which would bring mostly aesthetic changes. At this point, details are still unavailable, but we presume we would see some subtle changes on the front end and a few more areas. We presume we could see revised headlights, grille and similar things. Also, we would expect to see things like new color options, new wheels and even a new appearance package or some special version. Just like the current model, the next year’s version would continue in two familiar body styles, either as a 2- or 4-door SUV.

On the other hand, the mechanical aspect definitely won’t change. We expect to see the same layout, where even the most basic version comes with independent front- and solid-axle rear suspension, along with at least 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Furthermore, you can get upgrades like locking differentials, oversized mud- and all-terrain tires, an intake snorkel, winch-ready bumpers and an on-demand sway bar disconnect, as well as a long list of selectable drive modes.

Interior

We probably won’t see bigger updates on the inside, though there is a good chance to see things like new color schemes. On the other hand, the overall cabin layout will remain the same, with a rugged dashboard design and durable materials. The 2-door model offers relatively modest second-row space but still remains quite practical, thanks to the 22.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind its rear seats and 52.3 cubic feet with these seats folded, which is way more compared to the two-door Wrangler, which offers around 34 cubic feet of the overall cargo volume.

The four-door model accommodates passengers in the second row with ease, while the cargo area is also very generous. You may count on about 35.6 cubic feet of space behind its rear seats and 77.6 cubic feet in total.

Tech and Safety Features

Novelties in this aspect are also possible but keep in mind that the current model already stands pretty well in this aspect. Base models come standard with goodies like an 8-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, HD Radio, satellite radio, a seven-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, four USB ports, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster with an analog speedometer, remote keyless entry and push-button start. Also, there are upgrades like a 12-inch touch screen, navigation, a 10-speaker stereo, wireless device charging, auxiliary switches, a 120-volt household-style power outlet and two additional USB ports, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry and remote start.

When it comes to safety, the current model comes with goodies like a rearview camera, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, rear-seat alert etc. Among upgrades, you can find parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, surround-view camera and more.

2024 Ford Bronco Engines

We don’t expect bigger changes under the hood, so there should be three familiar powertrain options on offer. Base models will continue with a 2.3-liter turbo-four, which puts out around 300 horsepower. Also, there is an optional 2.7-liter V6, which is good for about 330 horsepower, while the 3.0-liter V6 stands at the top of the offer, reserved for the Bronco Raptor. That engine puts out around 418 horsepower.

All three engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, while the base turbo-four is also available with a 7-speed manual gearbox. Of course, four-wheel drive is standard in all models.

2024 Ford Bronco Release Date and Price

Considering the possible update, we presume that the 2024 Ford Bronco might come a little bit earlier than usual, though still within the second half of the year. The current model starts at around 33.000 dollars in the two-door version and $37.000 in the four-door version, and we don’t believe that the next year’s model could bring a bigger price increase.
