Pre-orders for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq are now being accepted. Due to the fact that the all-electric Lyriq SUV was introduced for the first time last year, we anticipate that the new 2024 model will be a carryover. In addition to the base model, the Cadillac Lyriq will have two more trims. As far as we know, they will be called the Lyriq Sport and the Lyriq Premium Luxury.

Ultium Battery Provides 312 Miles of Range
Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations are available to choose from with the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. The EPA estimates that a full charge will allow the RWD model to travel a distance of 312 miles. The engine will reportedly generate 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque.
Charging Details
When plugged in for an hour, Level 2 home charging on the Lyriq will extend the range by 52 miles. This only applies to rear-wheel-drive vehicles if you are hooked up to a 19.2 kW public or residential charger. After an hour of charging with the 11.5 kW charger, you’ll be able to go up to 37 miles. A 7.7 kW dual-level adds 19 miles of range to AWD Lyriq vehicles and 21 miles to RWD. The charging cable will be included with the Lyriq as standard equipment.
The Cadillac EV also supports up to 190 kW of DC rapid charging. RWD and AWD Lyriq’s will gain 76 miles of range after just 10 minutes at a DC fast-charging station.
Price and Release Date
When the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq comes, we expect its numbers to be about the same as those of its predecessor. Unfortunately, exact prices for the new model have not yet been determined. We expect the base model to be around $62,990, while the AWD variant should start at $64,990.
Based on some reports, the Lyriq is expected to arrive in spring 2023. The Genesis GV60, Jaguar I-Pace, Audi e-tron, and Tesla Model X are among the 2024 Cadiallic Lyriq’s competitors.
