After recent spy shots, we have a first look at new renderings of the upcoming 2024 Audi Q7 premium SUV model. The new SUV will reportedly arrive sometime next year, featuring numerous upgrades over the previous generation. The highlight of the 2024 model will definitely be the new entry PHEV version as well as the pure electric variant. This means that the combustion engine will no longer be available.
Alongside the new engines, the manufacturer will also make the Q7 more attractive thanks to a refreshed styling. Unfortunately, Audi didn’t reveal any information regarding the price of the new Q7 but expects it to cost significantly more than before.
Is Audi Redesigning the 2024 Audi Q7?
As we said, the new 2024 Audi Q7 has been spotted recently, and we finally got some renderings. First of all, the new SUV looks more aggressive, especially in the front. It features a completely redesigned front fascia, borrowing many cues from the Q4 E-Tron.
It comes with the identical octagonal Singleframe, which is somehow modified on the Q7 to provide more aggression. We also noticed a slimmer and sharper LED headlight. The rear is also new, featuring beautiful taillights as well as a new exhaust system. The manufacturer will also introduce a new SQ7 model, which should bring a more aggressive styling.
Unlike many rivals that come with optional seating for seven, the new 2024 Audi Q7 has it as standard. It is also spacious and stylish, featuring more high-quality materials than before. Luggage space is the same, measuring 14.2 cubic feet with all the seats in place. However, with seats, it provides 69.6 cubic feet.
On the technology front, Audi offers a standard 12.3-inch digital driver information display and a large infotainment screen as well. Other features that are also included are navigation, Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, and a 10-speaker sound system. Safety is also better thanks to the forward-collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, and much more.
2024 Audi Q7 Engine Options
The new 2024 Audi Q7 will be available with new engines. According to many reports, the forthcoming SUV will ditch the combustion engine and introduce a new electric and PHEV setup. From what we know, the plug-in hybrid variant will use a single electric motor and a battery that should provide at least 50 miles (80 km) on a single charge.
The all-electric model, on the other hand, will use two electric motors, making it an all-wheel drive standard. This model thanks a high-capacity battery and efficient motors, should provide around 300 miles on a single charge. Unfortunately, we still don’t know what type of transmission will be used.
2024 Audi Q7 Release Date, Price
The new 2024 Audi Q7 is expected to go on sale sometime next year, probably in the second half. Considering that Audi is going to replace combustion engines with the PHEV and electric variants, we’re expecting a significant pricing jump. The current least expensive Q7 starts at $56,900, plus a destination charge of $1,095, while the performance-oriented SQ7 tops out at $110,000 loaded with options.
