2023 Toyota Camry

The new 2023 Toyota Camry will hit stores next year with refreshed styling. This midsize model is one of the most attractive sedans in class thanks to its unique design and great reputation for reliability. However, it has been over three years since the last time this model was redesigned. So, we believe Toyota is due to give this a model redesign that it deserves to keep up with rivals such as the Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord, Kia K5, and Nissan Altima.

From what we hear, the forthcoming model will likely come with revised front and rear treatment. Surely, the interior will be upgraded as well, and we’re expecting a new layout as well as many technologies. Under the hood, the Camry will continue to offer a choice of a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine or a quick 3.5-liter V6. There is also an energetic hybrid powertrain, which provides great fuel economy.

2023 Toyota Camry Facelift

Like before, there will be various versions of the Toyota Camry models, and the design will vary. For example, choosing the Nightshade edition, which is based on the SE trim, you will get a black grille, side mirror housings, rear spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The TRD is the most favorite model that should once again come with modified suspension and with matte black 19-inch alloy wheels. Unlike other trims, this one also includes a large rear wing on the trunk lid, and it’s recognized thanks to exclusive 2-tone paint finish of Cavalry Blue with a black roof. The base model is still available with light silver color as standard.

Interior and Safety Upgrades

On the inside, the new 2023 Toyota Camry will be a little more upscale than before. This year, the manufacturer will add more quality materials, and the LE trim will gain dual-zone automatic climate control and illuminated mirrors in the front shades. The LE model will also come with 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, Amazon Alexa compatibility, USB-C port, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and Wi-Fi. In general, with some additional money, you can get more amenities on the upper trims.

As for the safety features, the Toyota Camry includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assistance.

2023 Toyota Camry Engine Options

Like the previous model, the new 2023 Toyota Camry will be available with three different setups. The base model is using a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine making 203 horsepower. This engine is standard choosing the front-drive LE, SE, XLE, and XSE models. However, if you go up to the XSE model, you will get a 206 horsepower.

The more potent 3.5-liter V6 is also available, and you can get it with XSE and TRD models. Unlike the base 4-cylinder engine, the V6 model develops 301 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft of torque. Both engines use an 8-speed automatic transmission and either front or all-wheel drive. There’s also a hybrid variant that consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. The combination provides 208 horsepower and above-average economics of 51 mpg in the city and 53 mpg on the highway.

2023 Toyota Camry Price, Release Date

We expect the 2023 Toyota Camry midsize to have a starting price of approximately $25,500 for the standard 4-cylinder engine. The priciest iteration will be the LE Hybrid trim that costs $27,380 and XSE V6 model that is roughly $36,000.

All models will hit stores next year, most likely before summer. As we said, the Camry will try to keep up with rivals such as the Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord, Kia K5, and Nissan Altima.
