The 2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade will arrive later this year with an astonishing look. For the first time, the Camry will join the bronze wheel club. This means it will replace the black 18-inch rims with a set of bronze 19-inchers. According to Toyota, the Nightshade package is now available on midgrade SE trims, as well as the Camry Hybrid.
Along with new wheels, the updated Nightshade appearance package will make this sedan sportier thanks to new black grille, black-trimmed headlights, and taillights. For those who may not know, the same Nightshade treatment is also available on models 4Runner, Sienna, Camry, Corolla, Tundra, Tacoma, and Sequoia.
2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade Exterior
The new 2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade thanks to an updated kit looks way better than any other trim. This model looks sporty, featuring a black grille with the same mesh design as we saw on the current Camry TRD. There are also black exterior bits like badges, mirror caps, and a rear spoiler.
For 2023, the Nightshade models will basically replace the black 18-inch rims with a set of bronze 19-inchers. Also, the black-trimmed headlights and taillights are visible as well. To separate this model from the rest of lineup, the manufacturer introduced Midnight Black and White paint options, just like the unique Reservoir Blue.
Longer List of Modern Interior Features
Not surprisingly, the interior of the 2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade will also receive black treatment. Like the original Camry, the Nightshade edition offers a long list of modern interior features that will keep you connected and entertained during a ride. First of all, the seats are updated, and now they are more supportive.
There are also more soft-touch premium materials than before, and we like the new nine-inch central touchscreen display. As standard, the Camry comes with audio, navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade Engine Options
As the model without the Nightshade package, this sedan will continue to offer a choice of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder 203 hp engine or a surprisingly quick V6. Keep in mind that there is also a hybrid variant that produces 208 horses total system. The hybrid variant can also be chosen with the Nightshade package.
As before, you can get models with either a front or all-wheel drive variant. We must mention that the Camry’s 301-horsepower V6 is available only in upscale trims like the XSE and TRD. Overall, as you can see, there are a few engines available, and we recommended stepping up to the hybrid variant because it is the most efficient.
2023 Toyota Camry Nightshade Price, Release Date
Toyota hasn’t said anything about the price of the new Camry Nightshade model. So, we’re not sure if the updated Nightshade package is still a $700 option. The 2023 Toyota Camry has a starting price of approximately $25,500 for the standard 4-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive model.
The priciest iteration is the XSE V6 model that costs roughly $36,000. As for the debut date, the company says the Nightshade package will join the lineup later this summer. The new Camry will take on rivals such as the Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord, Kia K5, and Nissan Altima.
