The upcoming 2023 Porsche Macan is an SUV that has the spirit of a sports car. For 2023, the Porsche Macan has gotten a facelift, and the EV variant looks almost identical to the Taycan model, especially the front end. It features a new grille and attractive LED headlights. The electric Macan will be reportedly built on VW Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that will also find a way to upcoming Audi and Porsche products.

Visual differences between the two Macans are evident, and EV prototypes headlights are slimmer, and it doesn’t have a traditional grille like the gas-powered model. Other than that, everything is similar, including size and shape, to the current crossover.

Cabin Upgrades

The interior of the 2023 Porsche Macan is quite comfortable and modern. Porsche added more technology throughout all trim levels and much more supportive seats. Moreover, the back seats of the Macan are a little tight for adults, but it’s comfortable for kids. The cargo space is also below average, but if you’re looking for a lot of room, check out models like the BMW X3 or the bigger Porsche Cayenne.

On the technology side, the new Porsche Macan will offer the standard 10.9-inch infotainment system, which is user-friendly. Also, we expect as well Apple CarPlay, navigation, 3-zone automatic climate control, power front seats, and four USB-C ports.

The 2023 Porsche Macan will use the new VW Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) electric architecture. This platform will be also available on all future Audi and Porsche products. However, the gas-powered model will use Macan’s existing platform.
