According to recently released spy shots, the upcoming 2023 Nissan Rogue is getting an overhaul for 2023. As we can see, the new SUV will look more attractive thanks to its sharper styling and a more modern interior. In case you didn’t know, this Japanese compact crossover is also sold as a (Qashqai) in Europe.

We anticipate that the U.S. model will use a gasoline-powered four-cylinder engine, and the option of front or all-wheel drive. Also, the next-generation Rogue should boast a more modernized cabin, which includes an updated infotainment and many new technologies. We expect the revamped crossover to hit dealerships sometime this year as a 2023 model.

The Rogue’s exterior design will not significantly differ from the outgoing one. Anyway, this SUV looks modern and very compact. It sits between the smaller Rogue Sport and larger Murano models. Also, it shares many modern designs aesthetic with the mentioned SUVs.

The design is attractive, and the Rogue wears Nissan’s V-Motion grille and a “floating” roof. Likewise, the more stylish LED headlights are introduced, just below the running lights and above the new shaped fog lamps. As far as we know, Nissan will also improve aerodynamics and reduce wind noise with active grille shutters, front air curtains, and underbody covers.

Cabin Features

The new 2023 Nissan Rogue carries on the same interior layout as its predecessor. Inside, there is more room that you can imagine. Still, unlike the Nissan Armada or Patrol models that have three-rows/seven seats, the Rogue offers two-rows with decent space for five passengers. Like on many Nissan models, the Zero Gravity front seats are a highlight, offering great comfort and support. Rogue’s cargo area reportedly can hold around 36.5 cubic feet behind the second row, and its capacity can increase to 74.1 cubic feet with folded seats.

The technology inside will also vary depending on trim levels. At the base level, the Nissan Rogue features Safety Shield 360 safety suite and an 8-inch display screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, going for the Rogue SV, you’ll get ProPilot Assist, NissanConnect, and an 8-way power driver seat with power lumbar adjustment. The Rogue Platinum is pinnacle on offer, and it comes with a 10.8-inch head-up display, 12.3-inch digital gauge package, and with diamond-quilted semi-aniline leather seats.

The new 2023 Nissan Rogue is the SUV that will come with just one engine/transmission combination. Under the hood is a not-fuel-hungry 1.5-liter VC-Turbo 3-cylinder direct gasoline injection engine that produces 201 horses.

The engine is hooked to a new Xtronic CVT, and it uses a front-wheel drive as the default. Of course, you can upgrade to all-wheel drive for an additional $1,500.

The revamped 2023 Nissan Rogue will likely hit dealerships sometime this year, starting at $26,800, plus a destination charge of $1,175. The SV trim is an upper trim that costs $28,390, Rogue SL trim starts at $33,050, and the top-of-the-line Platinum is $36,480. At these prices, the forthcoming Rogue is in line with competitors such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4.
