2023 Nissan Armada

The new 2023 Nissan Armada aka Patrol is one of the largest SUVS in the segment, featuring elegant design and fuel-hungry engine. This model offers a spacious and modern cabin that can accommodate up to eight passengers in three-rows. It also comes with Nissan’s latest independent rear suspension, resulting in the calmest and smoothest ride.

With a powerful 5.6-liter that produces 400-hp and excellent automatic transmission, the new Nissan Armada moves with authority and confidence. Unfortunately, the engine is fuel-hungry, and we are still hoping that the next model will be more economical. Overall, the Armada is still a charming SUV with great characteristics offset its imperfections.

2023 Nissan Armada Design, Dimensions

The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Armada still looks fresh from its facelift that happened last year. This large SUV measures length of 208.9 in, height of 75.8 in, and wheelbase of 121/1 in. The size of this SUV is very similar to the Toyota Sequoia, Chevy Tahoe, and Ford Expedition. Unfortunately, this model doesn’t have the long-wheelbase version as Ford with its Expedition Max or Chevrolet with Suburban.

It wears really recognizing Nissan’s design language, and it has a resemblance of the recently introduced Pathfinder and Rogue models. So, they all share a similar boxy shape with a few curves to keep things interesting.

Cabin Layout and Features

The interior of the new 2023 Nissan Armada is cushy and spacious. As before, this SUV has room to accommodate up to eight passengers offering a very insulated cabin from noise. Most of the materials inside are attractive and soft on touch. The Armada has three rows of seats and can accommodate up to eight passengers. Even compared with many rivals, the Armada feels elegant and has plenty of third-row legrooms.

Every Armada includes a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with rotary controls. Also, as standard equipment it includes built-in navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, as well as wireless smartphone charging. Going for the top-of-the-line Platinum trim, buyers will get rear-seat entertainment system with dual 8.0-inch screens.

2023 Nissan Armada Engine Spec

As we said, a powerful 5.6-liter V-8 engine will continue to power the latest 2023 Nissan Armada. The engine is civilized with a seven-speed automatic transmission as the only options. Moreover, this engine is able to develop up to 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel. You can get it with either standard rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

As we mentioned, the previous model with the same engine was very fuel-hungry and was EPA rated 14 mpg in the city and 19 on the highway. Fortunately, some mechanical changes are expected, and we are hoping to see much better fuel results. As before, every Nissan Armada can tow up to 8500 pounds, which is much more compared to its rivals.

When Can We Expect the 2023 Nissan Armada?

The new 2023 Nissan Armada is an SUV that’s available in four trim levels including S, SV, SL, Platinum. As usual, the lineup starts with an entry-level model that offers a great package of features for $50,500. The next trim is more recommended, and it costs $4000 more.

Overall, the most equipped models are SL and Platinum costing $58,000 and $66,800. Generally speaking, we think the SL trim is the best value. Considering previous releases, the new Nissan Armada will probably arrive later this year or even at the beginning of the next one.
