The new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is about to arrive with impressive fuel efficiency. This midsize crossover SUV will reportedly provide 34 mpg both in the city and on the highway. Interestingly, compared to other hybrid models in the same class, Santa Fe has an excellent fuel economy, which is on the top of the list of models with standard all-wheel-drive. It also has a roomy, nicely equipped interior and a plethora of standard equipment.

The most direct competitor to the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid is the Toyota Venza model as the only hybrid crossover in the same price range. Also, the Venza is more efficient, but the Santa Fe offers more space and more composed handling.

2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid Design

The exterior styling of the new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid will not depart from the regular model at all. Proportionally is the same as its predecessor, and it has a family resemblance to the bigger, 3-row Hyundai Palisade.

The front fascia is eye-catchy thanks to a large grille and a distinct light signature in front and back. However, in our opinion, the body is a bit boxy, but you will ignore that because of its unique character lines.

First Look Inside

The new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid looks premium inside, and that’s not strange considering that Hyundai has an excellent reputation for making quality cabins without a premium price tag. So, the interior of the hybrid model is upscale with some high-quality materials, especially on the Limited model. Interior space is generous, and there is room to fit comfortably two adults behind or three in a pinch. In general, this SUV is a good family roller as long as you don’t need three rows of seats.

On the tech side, the Santa Fe as standard features include a remote start, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, and a 12.3-inch LCD multi-information display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with standard safety like forwarding collision avoidance assist, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and a backup camera with rear cross-traffic alert.
