The redesigned 2023 Honda Accord is about to arrive and is likely to be a carryover model because it was slightly facelifted last year. In general, we’re not expecting any big changes, only a few tweaks outside and inside.

This model has an excellent reputation for reliability, safety, and value. The Accord is well-equipped, even choosing the base trim. In general, you can upgrade to the upper trims and get a near-luxury car without a luxury price tag. Reportedly, the Honda Accord will probably carry over the same two excellent engine options with improved fuel efficiency. The debut of the new model is set for next year.

Will the 2023 Honda Accord be Redesigned?

With minimal exterior changes, the forthcoming 2023 Honda Accord housing the same attractive body with yet handsome design. We like every detail of this sedan, and for 2023 the Accord gets a few exterior tweaks. From the available information, the new sedan will come with a slightly wider grille and front fascia.

Sport and above trims comes with LED high and low-beam headlights for better illumination. On top of that, the new LED fog lights are present, giving this model a more sporty vibe. The Accord sports the same sloped rear roofline at the back that gives it a sleek, fastback style. The trunk is also spacious, and this model is offering 16.7 cubic feet.

Cabin Changes

The new 2023 Honda Accord cabin is expected to remain spacious, and rear-seat passengers will get more comfort than in almost any other mid-size sedan. Although Honda recently stated that the next Accord would feature more handsome interior furnishings than before. Lower trim levels come with comfortable cloth seats and 17 cubic feet of cargo space.

Interestingly, the Accord hybrid doesn’t lose any cargo space considering that it comes with some electric powertrain components. All models come standard with a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capability. On upper trims, Honda offers a 10-speaker premium audio system with a 450-watt amplifier.

The lineup of the 2023 Honda Accord starts with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 192-hp. This unit is ideal if you want to save some fuel. However, our favorite is the much potent turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 252-hp with a 10-speed automatic that shifts very smoothly.

Reportedly, this engine is delivering 35 mpg. Also, a hybrid variant is available and it uses a Atkinson cycle engine and two electric motors. Front-wheel drive comes standard, leaving option to upgrade to an all-wheel drive.

Release Date and Price

The new 2023 Honda Accord will probably to enters the market sometime next year. As we mentioned, this model is available with three engine options, of which one is a hybrid e:HEV system. As for the pricing, we expect the pricing of the 2023 Honda Accord to be slightly higher than before.

The current model with standard equipment starts at $25,000, while premium Touring trim is likely to go up to about $38,000. In general, there is no need to spend some extra money because the base Accord is well-equipped.
