As per many reports, the 2023 GMC Acadia is on the way. The new SUV will receive more attractive design and it will reportedly grow in size. Also, comfort inside will be enhanced, and we can expect more quality materials and plenty of advanced technology. Under the hood, this SUV is powered by the same two engines, on which 2.0-liter turbo naturally aspirated inline-4 is the base one, while 3.5-liter V6 unit is optional.

According to GMC, the Acadia sales are rising almost every year, but due to the Covid-19 outbreak, they significantly dropped last year. However, the manufacturer is hoping that with the release of a new one, figures will grow again.

When it comes to engines, the forthcoming 2023 GMC Acadia will continue to be powered by the same two options. The base model uses a 2.0-liter turbo naturally aspirated inline-4, producing 230 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. As you can see, the engine provides great performance and efficiency in the front-wheel-drive form. The second and optional engine is a more powerful 3.5-liter V6 unit that is standard on the AT4 and Denali models.

As per reports, this one produce 310 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft of torque. However, both engines are hooked to a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard with FWD. AWD is still optional on all trim levels, expect AT4. As for towing, with the V6 unit, the Acadia is capable of pulling 4,000 pounds, which is excellent for the class.

Release Date, Price

The new 2023 GMC Acadia is on the way, and its sales will start the following year. As one of the most important GMC members alongside Yukon and Terrain models, the new SUV should receive many upgrades. Considering all the upgrades above, the forthcoming model will probably cost a thousand dollars more than the outgoing one.

The current SUV starts at 35,995, and it goes up to $50,000 for Denali trim. In the same pricing line there are many models, and some of them are the Chevrolet Traverse, Volkswagen Atlas, and Mitsubishi Outlander.
