The new 2023 Genesis GV80 will arrive next year, featuring much more handsome styling. This model is proportionally similar to the GV70 and is in the same class as the models Acura MDX, Audi Q7, BMW X5, Lexus RX, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.

For 2023, the South Korean manufacturer will make this model more unique thanks to a revised shield-shaped grille flanked by a quad headlight design. On top of that, many amenities are waiting for buyers, and inside, you’ll find only premium materials. As before, this SUV is available with two rows of seats, and if you choose an Advanced+ trim, you’ll get the third row for a total of seven seats. Under the hood, the GV80 deploys two different engine options a turbocharged 4-cylinder with 300-horsepower or optional 375-horsepower turbo V6.

The new 2023 Genesis GV80 interior will introduce a plethora of upgrades. This SUV includes fancy materials, and it feels truly elegant. A standard model comes with two rows of seat row allows for up to five passengers. In addition, you can also get a model with the third row of seats optional.

On the technology side, the forthcoming GV80 features the same 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen as its predecessor. It also has an 8-inch digital gauge cluster display, 360 parking sensors, 12-way power front seats, dual-zone climate, configurable ambient lighting, heated front seats, premium audio, and much more. On the safety front, the new model is safer than before, thanks to the many technologies. With the base model, you’ll get a front and rear collision mitigation, lane-keep assist, lane-follow assist, safe-exist assist, AHBA, AI cruise control, semi-autonomous driving, and a dynamic-guide rearview camera system.

2023 Genesis GV80 Engine Specs

As mentioned, the forthcoming 2023 Genesis GV80 will continue to available with the same two engine options. As standard, it uses a smooth turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 300-horsepower. However, there is an optional turbo V6 that delivers much more output, 375 horsepower.

Both engines are impressive, and they are paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on coth engines, while all-wheel drive is still optional.

When Can We Expect the 2023 Genesis GV80?

We expect the new 2023 Genesis GV80 to be more handsome than before. This SUV is ideal if you’re looking for something unique. It features attractive styling and an even better cabin.

On top of that, it starts at just under $50,000 for the base model. Moreover, adding AWD will cost approximately $5,000 extra to the price above. The optional turbo begins at around $60,000, while the range-topping Advanced+ trim is $70,000. We’re expecting this model to arrive sometime in 2022, as 2023YM.

    • Hi KB, right now there is no exact official release date of the 2023 Genesis GV80. Bassed on rumors, it should hit showrooms sometime in 2022. Happy Holidays
