The new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is expected to go on sale later this year, featuring minor changes and updates. According to recent reports, the forthcoming pickup truck will receive only a mid-cycle refresh for the fourth model year. Like before, the pinnacle on offer is the new off-road version of the Silverado ZR2 trim, which sits between the LT Trail Boss and LTZ trim levels.

Fortunately, we have some spy shots of the upcoming pickup that’s spied with zero camouflage. Noticeably, the manufacturer made some changes on the front and rear end. As before, the Silvarado isn’t certainly short on engine choices. The powertrain lineup starts with a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-4, and it goes with optional 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-6, a 5.3-liter V8, and a 6.2-liter V8.

2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Redesign

The last redesign of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 happened in 2019. At that time, this pickup truck adopted a controversial new front end, but it still retained its boxy proportions. As we already said, the new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has been recently spied testing wearing the same suit.

It is recognized by a traditionally styled grille and parenthesis-shaped daytime running lights. However, depending on trim level, this model will get different grille designs. The ZR2 model gets the most aesthetic thanks to a unique grille, black 18-in. Wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a black plastic “Chevrolet” wordmark grille.

Interior Upgrades

The cabin of the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is revamped, as well as the most of the Silverado’s lineup. We recommended to step up at least to LT that contains a higher level of equipment. This model includes better materials, digital gauges, and a large 13.4-inch color touchscreen.

The ZR2 is great option that’s equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-speaker Bose audio system, and much more. The premium High-Country trim is the most expensive trim, which boasts leather upholstery, open-pore wood trim, and a Bose premium audio system with stainless steel speakers.
