The American automobile manufacturer will reportedly introduce for the first time the new Super Cruise driver assist system. This system includes a range of visual cameras, LiDAR mapping, GPS data, and radar sensors to automatically steer, accelerate, and brake.

2023 Cadillac XT6 Facelift

In terms of design, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 will not change significantly compared to its predecessor. The front still has the same attractive shield-shaped grille, flanked by thinner LED headlights. As we noticed, the daytime running lights are set vertically. Roof rails are standard, and buyers of the Sport model will get it in black finish.

Cadillac offers a few exterior cosmetic bundles on the back as well like the new dual exhaust outlets in the V6 variant. The Radiant package is once again available, and you can count on a bright chrome finish and 20-inch alloy wheels. New paints this year are Latte Metallic and Rosewood Metallic.

More Luxurious Cabin

Inside, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is very modern, offering great comfort. In standard form, this SUV is available with seating for seven. However, optional second-row captain’s chairs bring that down to six. Third-row legroom according to Cadillac remains 29.5 inches, which is pretty good for the class.

Moreover, second row offers a generous 39.1 inches. With all the rows folded, the XT6 has an impressive 78.7 cubic feet. In the base Luxury trim, the XT6 includes sunroof, keyless entry/ignition, remote start, 3-zone automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, self-dimming rearview mirror, heated/power-adjustable front seats with driver’s-side memory settings, and 8-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration also comes standard.

2023 Cadillac XT6 Under the Hood

Beneath the hood of 2023 Cadillac XT6, there are two engine options. For 2023, the manufacturer used the same engines as before. That means we can expect once again standard powertrain turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 237-hp.

As an optional, Cadillac offers a much more potent V6 engine capable of producing a 310-hp. Both come with a nine-speed automatic and front wheel drive. Of course, you can get an all-wheel drive as well, but only optionally. The EPA estimates the standard turbo-four with 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, while the V-6 engine are rated up to 19 mpg city and 26 highways.

Release Date, Price

The new 2023 Cadillac XT6, as we mentioned, is a luxury SUV that will bring many upgrades next year. We expect this model to appear on the market after the debut of the XT5 model in summertime. As far as we know, the manufacturer will offer this model in trims Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport.

The standard variant has a great package of equipment, and it costs little less than $50,000. However, price will significantly jump choosing the Sport model. The competition is brutal, and the Cadillac XT6 is in the same class with the models like Lincoln Aviator, Volvo XC90, Genesis GV80, Acura MDX, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.
