The forthcoming 2023 Cadillac Escalade will reportedly offer more technology than an Apple Store. This SUV is one of the favorite in the class, featuring attractive styling, a luxurious cabin, and plenty of high-tech items. Inside, you’ll find fine leather, genuine wood, and shiny metal trims.

On top of that, the manufacturer added a more massive, curved digital display that dominates the dashboard. If you didn’t know, the Escalade’s exterior draws inspiration from the Escala concept car but with more boxy styling. As before, this SUV will continue to roll with the standard 6.2-liter V-8, while Cadillac also offers a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six as an option.

2023 Cadillac Escalade Redesign

The styling of the new 2023 Cadillac Escalade is premium and subtle. As we can see from the first available images, the design is a little more subdued than the previous generation of the Escalade. Moreover, it still employs a massive grille, a handsome light signature, and stylish wheel designs.

In general, the look of the Escalade will vary a bit depending on the trim. For example, buyers will get more chrome trim when choosing the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims, while the Sport comes with blacked-out mesh front grille and black exterior accents. The Premium Luxury Platinum model will basically transform this SUV to look more aggressive thanks to the chrome grille and unique wheels. As before, the Escalade is available with a choice of two wheelbases. The standard Escalade is proportionally the same as the Chevrolet Tahoe, while the long-wheelbase model is similar to the Chevy Suburban. In addition, the Lincoln Navigator is in the same class as well and is the only luxury SUV with two-wheelbase options.

More Luxury Inside

Tthe new 2023 Cadillac Escalade is one of the rarest models with such a dose of Luxury. On top of that, it comes with a very spacious cabin that is filled with more technology than an Apple Store. Stepping in, you’ll first notice a Faux leather in the base Luxury trim, while Platinum models are getting soft semi-aniline hides.

The highlight inside is the new digital dashboard that’s comprised of three curved OLED displays. Thanks to that, the manufacturer creates a cool 38-inches of combined digital real estate. The same collection of displays we saw on the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class last year. However, unlike the GLS, the Escalade also offers a rear-seat entertainment package that includes two 12.6-inch displays. Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and a Wi-Fi hotspot come standard as well.

Powertrain Specs

The new 2023 Cadillac Escalade is a massive SUV that needs strong engines to pull it. As the previous generation, the new one will continue to use as a standard 6.2-liter V-8 engine. The engine is capable of making 420 horsepower. It can deactivate half of its cylinders when cruising to save fuel.

Alongside this engine, the manufacturer is also offering a turbo-diesel 3.0-liter inline-six as optional. Both engines will use as the standard 10-speed automatic transmission with choice of rear or all-wheel-drive setups. The long-wheelbase Escalade ESV, reportedly with the V8 engine, can sprint to 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds. The manufacturer is also working on the all-electric variant that will probably be introduced after debut of the regular model.

When Can We Expect the 2023 Cadillac Escalade?

Cadillac will make its flagship SUV more competitive than before. The new 2023 Escalade will receive some upgrades for the following year. Like before, it will be available in six different trim levels.

All starts with a Luxury model that costs $78,000, Premium Luxury $81,000, Sport $89,000, Premium Luxury Platinum $103,000, and the most expensive Sports Platinum, which starts at $103,250.
