A cosmetic fresh of the new 2023 Audi Q8 has been confirmed by new spy shots. As far as we know, the upcoming two-row midsize luxury SUV will arrive later this year, featuring more aggressive styling and numerous upgrades inside as well.
Despite not being Audi’s largest SUV, the Q8 still offers great comfort for all five passengers. In general, thanks to its raked roofline and deleted third-row seat, this SUV is more practical inside than any of its rivals. Like the first generation that came in 2019, the second one will be available with the same engine that is expected to be boosted with more power.
2023 Audi Q8 Design
On the cosmetic front, the 2023 Audi Q8 is one of the most beautiful SUVs on the market. So, if you’re seeking for an attractive midsize SUV with a sporty feel and a comfortable ride, then the Audi Q8 is worth checking out.
A few reports say a cosmetic refresh could be coming, and we can expect this model to wear a more aggressive front end including wider grille and reshaped headlights. We also got information that the new SUV would ride on a larger 21-inch wheels for the base model, while higher trims should get even bigger ones.
Does the Audi Q8 Come with 7 Seats?
Unlike the Audi Q7 that comes with seating for seven, the new 2023 Audi Q8 can only store up to five. However, Audi has a great reputation for crafting some of the finest interiors in the competitive luxury car world. Indeed, the well-earned reputation can be seen on the 2023 Audi Q8. As the brand’s flagship SUV, the Q8 model will reportedly come with a updated driver assist and infotainment systems.
Of course, expect more high-quality materials and some user-friendly tech features. The current variant is available with a 10.1-inch upper screen for phone connectivity, navigation, and audio, while 8.6-inch lower screen is for climate control. It’s worth mentioning that the lower screen can also be used for hand-written commands.
Depending on a chosen trim level, the engine of the new 2023 Audi Q8 will vary. The current standard model uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that produces 335 horsepower. Besides, there are two different iterations of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. The first one is under the SQ8, producing 500 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque.
The more powerful and expensive RS Q8 using the same engine delivers 591 horses and 590 lb-ft of torque. Every version comes standard with a 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and quattro all-wheel drive. However, for 2023YM, we expect all of the engines to get some mapping, which should result in more power.
