The more eye-catching 2023 Audi A5 will reportedly go on sale next year, featuring some upgrades. According to the latest information, the body of the new model will be sportier, making it a great choice for everyone who enjoys driving. As far as we know, this model should be available in three forms, as Coupe, Cabriolet, and Sportback.

Both variants will be powered by a gutsy 261-hp turbocharged four-cylinder that will produce enough power to make every drive fun. On top of that, the A5 will be paired with a standard all-wheel drive for the first time. Those looking for more oomph, the manufacturer is also offering Audi S5, which is dressed in a more sporty styling.

2023 Audi A5 Facelift

The forthcoming 2023 Audi A5 is based on the A4 model, and both are sharing some design cues. However, the A5 model looks sportier thanks to its sloping roof and a slightly different hood. The Coupe comes with a 2-door/hardtop, while the Cabriolet is available with a couple of doors and a fabric roof.

Unlike both models above, the A5 Sportback offers two extra doors and better aerodynamics. In general, each model is sleek and stylish. Audi also offers a Black Optic package that will make this model even sportier with black grille, side mirror housings, alloy wheels and even the roof.

More Elegant Interior

The cabin of the new 2023 Audi A5 is more elegant than before and is made of top-quality materials. However, both the Coupe and Cabriolet remain to be 4-seaters. Unsurprisingly, they can accommodate a couple of average-size adult males, providing decent legroom and headroom. However, the Audi A5 Sportback is the best choice if you’re seeking some extra rear occupant space.

This model also has the sloping roof as the other ones, but it doesn’t affect the rear headroom too badly. The A5 Sportback is also the best choice for carrying cargo. According to Audi, this model can hold between 21 and 35 cubic feet. As for the technology, the manufacturer added an updated 12.3-inch configurable digital driver information display, also known as the Virtual cockpit.

Engine Specs

Beneath the hood, the upcoming 2023 Audi A5 will be available with a very potent engine. This coupe uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter with the new 12-volt hybrid setup. For 2023, some extra boost will happen, and the engine that produces 248 will now deliver 261 horsepower. According to Audi, with this engine, the A5 will be able to run from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.0-seconds, which is around 0.6 second behind the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport that produces 400-hp.

The Quattro all-wheel-drive system comes standard, and it helps this model to provide faultless power delivery out of tight corners. If this is not enough oomph for you, you can still go for the S5 that produces 349-hp thanks to a turbo V6 engine.
