Acura’s smallest model ILX could roll this year with no significant changes. Like the all-new Honda Civic, the 2023 Acura ILX wears the same premium exterior styling treatment. However, unlike the previous-generation, the new one will come with a longer standard features list. Its cabin has been updated, and it doesn’t lack from other models in class.
Under the hood, there is a sole four-cylinder powertrain that can produce 201-hp with front-wheel drive mated to a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. However, if you’re seeking more modern small luxury cars, in the same class you can find models such as the Audi A3, the BMW 2-series Gran Coupe, and the Mercedes-Benz A-class.
2023 Acura ILX Redesign
The 2023 Acura ILX exterior design is attractive yet compact. However, for 2023, this model will be corporate and share many elements with the popular Honda Civic model. The ILX features a very attractive front end thanks to a diamond grille and very attractive LED headlights.
Speaking of which, the same design language has been seen on other Acura models, including SUVs. The A-Spec treatments are the best for money. This model transforms this car to look sportier thanks to a black mesh grille and gray alloy wheels. The Type S model should be available as well, and it will be even more eye-catchy.
Interior Upgrades
The 2023 Acura ILX cabin is modern and roomy. In general, this car has enough room for the driver and the front-seat passenger but is still cramped for those in the rear. Otherwise, everything inside is upscale, and there are plenty of standard equipment inside. Inside, you’ll find a sunroof, heated sport seats with power adjustments for the driver, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Surprisingly, for 2023YM, the manufacturer updated the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, providing better graphics. As before, the infotainment supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. As for safety, the latest ILX has a host of standard driver-assistance technology. It includes an adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.

Beneath the hood, the 2023 Acura ILX uses a four-cylinder engine that produces 201-hp. The engine revs easily, and the ILX comes with front-wheel drive mated to a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission. The current ILX earns fuel-economy ratings of 24 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.
Compared with rivals like the A3 and A-class, the ILX is a more competitive car. There is also a rumor about a hybrid variant, but so far, the manufacturer is still quiet.
2023 Acura ILX Price, Release Date
The forthcoming 2023 Acura ILX premium sedan will roll into the market this year with no significant changes. As we mentioned, the forthcoming model is based on the all-new Honda Civic, and both are sharing many elements. As before, the ILX is available in four different trims.
You can get a base model for a price of $28,000, Premium model for $29,500 or Premium A-Spec with a price of $31,500. The pinnacle of offer is a Technology A-Spec model that starts at $33,500. On the other hand, you can get the lower trims optional Premium package, which adds leather upholstery, upgraded infotainment features, and more.
