So, why not to make a Macan all-electric. The latest 2022 Porsche Macan EV is the forthcoming SUV that will be built on the new PPE platform co-designed by Audi and Porsche. This platform is also known as “skateboard” and it can host batteries under the floor and between the axles.
Alongside this model, the manufacturer will also continue to offer conventional, gas-powered Macan. Unlike the EV model, this one will continue to use the same MLB Evo platform. Besides, Porsche promises 300+ miles driving range on the EV model and amazing performances.

However, there is no much information regarding the exterior outlook of the upcoming EV. Some of the renderings that are available showing pretty the same design as on regular Macan. As we can see, the front fascia of the rendering model hosts a new bumper with larger intakes. Also, bellow led headlights are added fog lights. Honestly, we don’t like that design and we hope that the final version will change that. Anyway, the new Macan EV will arrive as a next-gen vehicle, so numerous visual tweaks are a must.

The new 2022 Porsche Macan EV will look very premium inside. As you probably know, all Porsche models are made to gives maximum comfort and plenty of sportiness. That means the EV model shouldn’t depart from any of nowadays models.

Porsche will offer different trim levels with a single or dual-motor setup. The entry-level model will provide around 245 miles of driving range, while the dual-motor installation might pass 300 miles range. Besides the EV model, Macan will also get its Turbo variant as well.
Price and Arrival Date
The forthcoming 2022 Porsche Macan EV is rendered and thanks to that, we can how this model might look like. From the information that we got, the price will depend on the battery capacity and equipment. We think that the new electric Macan will likely cost around $65,000. The sales of Macan EV will start by the end of 2021.
