2022 Nissan Altima Engine Specs
Under the hood, the forthcoming 2022 Nissan Altima will offer two engine options. Interestingly, this is the only engine that can be paired with an AWD system. The current model with the same engine delivers EPA city/highway fuel economy of 28/39 mpg (FWD) and 26/36 mpg with the (AWD).
Nissan also offers a more powerful optional turbocharged variable-compression 2.0-liter engine. This engine can only be equipped with FWD, producing more than 248 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the first efficient engine, this one has rated 25/34 mpg, which is still good.

However, if you are looking for something unique, the Platinum trim is the best choice equipped with AWD, 19-inch alloy wheels, and with 360-degree exterior monitor. This version cost almost $35,000. The sales of Nissan Altima will most likely start in the last quarter of the year.
