The company’s next-gen model 2022 Lincoln Navigator, has been confirmed to be all-electric. According to the latest news, the upcoming model will keep the same dimension and shape with minimal refreshments.

2022 Lincoln Navigator: What We Know so Far
The new 2022 Lincoln Navigator design characteristics won’t change significantly. From what we heard, the upcoming model will keep the same dimensions and shape. So, don’t expect to see particular changes.
First of all, this model will sit on the familiar but slightly modified T3 platform used on many nowadays models. The overall design will definitely slightly changed, with some added details that emphasize the all-electric character. Many believe that next-gen front fascia will be slightly updated and probably use a modified grille with slimmer headlights. Perhaps we can expect to see the long-wheelbase version in the offer as well.
The electric models require additional space because of battery storage. That means the cabin of the latest 2022 Lincoln Navigator might be a little bit tighter than gasoline models. However, cuts will probably be minimal, keeping in mind that the battery will be placed under the floor. By the way, the new Lincoln Navigator Electric will provide a very comfortable interior. The current model comes with three rows of seats, and it offers more than 20 cubic feet behind the third row, while the overall capacity goes up to 103.4 cubic feet folding second and third row. It comes standard with pre-collision warning and braking system, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high-beam headlights, a rearview camera, and lane-keep assist. Additionally, you can get a park assist system, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view parking camera system.
2022 Lincoln Navigator Electric Motor Details
As we mentioned, the all-new 2022 Lincoln Navigator goes all-electric. This model will most likely use the same motors and batteries as the R1S and R1T models. Basically, that means there will be three variants in the offer, with different battery packages. Rivian popular models are available with capacities ranging from 105, 135, or 180 kWh.
Moreover, base models will come with an output of around 350 – 400 horsepower, while the most potent versions produce impressive 700+ horsepower. When it comes to the range, a model that used the biggest battery packages should be able to travel 400 miles on a single charge. Therefore, the most capable version can hit 60 mph in just about 3 seconds.
Release Date and Price
From plenty of speculations over the internet, expect the 2022 Lincoln Navigator electric model to be introduced sometime next year. However, consider that this model is still in the stage of development, pricing is not available yet. Lincoln also announced that alongside this SUV, they would also introduce two more electric models.
