The upcoming 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is ready to receive some updates next year. This 2-row/5-passenger midsize-luxury SUV sits between models Aviator and Corsair in Lincoln’s lineup. Thanks to that, it’s compact, offering very modern styling.

However, for 2022, Lincoln is preparing to make this model more competitive, giving it plenty of improvements. First of all, it should be more attractive, and Lincoln will offer an improved cabin with the latest Sync4 infotainment and a new 13.2-inch horizontal touchscreen.

Since the previous Nautilus model, very little has been changed on the new 2022 version. Some here and there, mild updates are available, resulting in a more stylish look. Moreover, most of the changes are visible on the front fascia, which now has an attractive grille and full-width strip of chrome.

Overall, it looks much like it did last year, but if you’re looking for something different, Lincoln Black Label is available as well. This version features many black accents that can be found on the grille, 21-inch wheels, and other elements. Unlike the standard model, Black Label also offers an evasive-steering assist system and adaptive suspension.

Interior Highlights

The interior of the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is a highlight of this SUV. This model can host a 5-seats offering a pretty much roomy interior. For 2022, it comes with a new horizontal theme featuring a 13.2-inch touchscreen at the top of the center stack. Basically, this is the most largest screen that you can get from Lincoln. The interface is much better this year, thanks to the new latest Sync 4 system from Ford.

Overall, Nautilus is the most luxurious midsize SUV that comes with two new interior colors Sandstone and Black Ebony, which has Roast accents. However, ordering a Nautilus Black Label, and you’ll get leather upholstery, panoramic roof, navigation, wireless phone charging pad, heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, and a great-sounding 13-speaker Revel audio system.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Engine Specs

Like before, the newest 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will be offered with two engine options under the hood. The standard model uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that is good for 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Optionally one can get a more potent twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 engine that generates 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Both engines use the same 8-speed automatic transmission as the only option. However, the base Nautilus comes with a front-wheel-drive (FWD), while the V6 is available with an all-wheel-drive (AWD).

On top of that, both engines employ a start/stop system that cuts power at idle to save fuel. Like in many nowadays models, this system can be disabled just with one click. Like before, the Nautilus is rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Release Date and Price

The release date of 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will probably happen in the second quarter of 2021. As mentioned, the new model will receive some small visual changes, and it will gains more technology inside. As for the price, it should depend on trim levels.

For example, the front-wheel-drive (FWD) model will start at $41,940, while all-wheel drive (AWD) rises to $44,440. The top on the offer is a more attractive Nautilus Black Label that begins at $65,090. Compared to models in the same class, Lincoln Nautilus undercuts the Cadillac XT5 and the Lexus UX models.
