First of all, all trims’ levels will feature more standard equipment. Honda also revealed that it focuses on making this minivan more comfortable, especially on long trips. Also, standard features that are available so far include push-button ignition, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and rear privacy glass. However, the trim’s top will remain Elite, and it will add special leather seats, contrasting piping, and stitching.

The safety from the latest report could be a little better than before. Generally, all trim levels are great equipped even though the LX trim gets more standard features. The list is long, including plenty of airbags, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow forward collision mitigation, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping assistance.

Some early reports indicate that there would be no changes under the hood of the new 2022 Honda Odyssey. That means the same powertrain remains for sure, with some better outputs. The current model is using a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, providing 280 horsepower.
However, the new one will most likely feature some of the mechanical modifications, delivering more power. From some rumors, the upcoming minivan should provide at least 300 horses. As for the transmission, we can expect the same 10-speed automatic.

The release date of the 2022 Honda Odyssey is not officially available, but it should happen sometime next year. Many believe that the new minivan might be introduced at the New York auto show in April next year, while the debut could happen soon after that.
