The redesigned version of the famous three-row 2022 Buick Enclave SUV has been finally revealed to the public. For 2022, the manufacturer makes some changes, and the facelifted model looks more elegant. The latest redesign includes a revised grille, reshaped headlights, and new taillights.
Besides exterior upgrades, the new Enclave will also feature a better and more spacious interior. From many reports, the forthcoming model should also introduce the new engine alongside the existing one. The debut of this attractive SUV is set for later this year.
2022 Buick Enclave Exterior Overhaul
Buick has shared some of the early photos of the upcoming 2022 Enclave. The new three-row SUV comes with a fresher-looking face and many noticeable upgrades. Basically, a facelift will include a revised grille with the winged Buick logo, reshaped headlights, and new taillights.
Speaking of grille, the Avenir trim will feature an exclusive one with a honeycomb-like pattern and other unique touches. Like the previous model, the new one sits on the same platform. It stretch over 204 inches in length, with a larger presence than the competitor like the Acura MDX. Overall, the design is more modern, and Enclave rides on 18-inch wheels as standard, with 20-inch rollers available optionally.
Interior Includes a New 10.2-Inch-Diagonal Touchscreen
Besides outside updates, the new 2022 Buick Enclave will also come with a revised interior. According to the manufacturer, the next generation should be loaded with more standard features. Of course, expect more premium materials and a comfortable cabin. Some of the reports reveal that we should expect completely new infotainment and the latest safety technology.
Most likely, that Enclave will feature for the first time a brand new 10.2-inch-diagonal color touchscreen. For comparison only, the Kia Telluride offers a 10.25-inch screen, while the new Toyota Highlander comes with a much larger 12.3-inch display. Alongside the new screen, the standard package will consist of a keyless entry, universal garage remote, tri-zone climate control, remote start, a power-operated hands-free liftgate, and Apple CarPlay Android Auto.
2022 Buick Enclave Powertrain Specs
The manufacturer didn’t yet reveal any information regarding the engine of the 2022 Buick Enclave. Most likely that the new model will be carryover in this department. Basically, that means we could once again see the same 3.6-liter V6 that generates 310-horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. This engine comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission and front wheels FWD as standard setup. All-wheel-drive system is still optional.
Interestingly, plenty of rumors suggesting that GM will add a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four to the lineup. The same engine we saw recently on the GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT6 models. However, Buick is still quiet about it.
How Much Does the New 2022 Buick Enclave Cost?
