The standard safety equipment list is perhaps one of the longest on the market. Basically, you can rely on this model thanks to the forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor, emergency braking, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Transmission is an 8-speed automatic, and the maximum towing capacity is 1,500 pounds.

Official fuel economy figures reveal that Volkswagen Tiguan in EPA city/highway fuel economy is rated 22/29 mpg (FWD), 20/27 mpg (AWD). Except for the front-wheel-drive system, Tiguan is also available optionally with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The new model also includes a variety of driver-selectable modes. Basically, it comes with mods On-Road, Snow, Off-Road, and Custom Off-Road. Offroading with Tiguan is excellent thanks to 7.9 inches of ground clearance.

The new 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will introduce better styling and more standard amenities. Moreover, it also deploys the same engine as before. We expect the 2021 Tiguan to be priced similarly to the 2020 model. That means (MSRP) of $25,965, including the $1,020 destination charge remains. However, choosing a fully loaded VW Tiguan SEL Premium R-Line 4Motion pricing will jump to $40,000. From the -latest VW statement, this model should be on the sale later this year.
