It comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 that can deliver 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque at only 1,600 rpm. Transmission is an 8-speed automatic, and the maximum towing capacity is 1,500 pounds.
Official fuel economy figures reveal that Volkswagen Tiguan in EPA city/highway fuel economy is rated 22/29 mpg (FWD), 20/27 mpg (AWD). Except for the front-wheel-drive system, Tiguan is also available optionally with a 4Motion all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The new model also includes a variety of driver-selectable modes. Basically, it comes with mods On-Road, Snow, Off-Road, and Custom Off-Road. Offroading with Tiguan is excellent thanks to 7.9 inches of ground clearance.
Price and Release Date
The new 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan will introduce better styling and more standard amenities. Moreover, it also deploys the same engine as before.
