This latest generation looks refreshed and it looks even more stylish with its “floating roof”. The manufacturer also revised a famous Nissan’s “V-Motion” front end, which looks more extensive than before. On top of that, recent updates reveal a redesigned LED headlights and taillights, and new fog lights. Of course, Murano sports very stylish wheels that size from 18 inches on lower trims and 20 inches for higher ones. To attract more customers, the manufacturer added roof rails as standard.

Cabin Is Roomy and Techy

One of the best things about the new 2021 Nissan Murano is a roomy cabin. This model comes with two rows of seats and it can place 5-passenger. However, if you need a more roomy cabin, go for the family three-row Pathfinder. Thus, the Murano besides spacious cabin offers very comfortable seats. When folded the second row of seats, the new Murano doubles cargo space up to 67 cubic feet. Moreover, compared to models in the same class as Ford Edge, Honda Passport and Subaru Outback, the Murano offers less cargo space.

The latest Murano is available in four trims: S, SV, SL and the top-line Platinum. The least expensive S trim is well equipped. Basically, this model has all that you need for everyday use. It has dual-zone climate control, push-button start, automatic emergency braking system, and an 8-inch touch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

2021 Nissan Murano Powertrain

Like before, the Murano is available with a single-engine option. This model uses a 3.5-liter V6 that is capable of making 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. As you can see, the engine is still quite competitive and can easily rival many other models in the same class. Unlike the many nowadays SUVs, the Murano will be uniquely SUV that comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission. This system is also known as Xtronic. Another good thing is that the latest generation will continue to offer a start/stop system to improve efficiency.

Besides, Murano comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD), while all-wheel drive (AWD) can choose optionally on all trims. Still, like the previous model, the new one provides the same low towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. For comparison, a Jeep Grand Cherokee that uses V6 can pull 6,200 pounds, while a Honda Passport can do 5,000.

Arriving Date and Cost

The refreshed 2021 Nissan Murano looks modern and unique. This compact SUV has many pros. For example, it comes with a CVT transmission, comfortable seats, sedan-like ride quality, and it uses a powerful V6 engine. Nissan has been revealed that the new model should arrive later this year, with the starting price less than $32,000.
