2021 Lincoln Nautilus Features More Techs and Minimal Exterior Changes

The new 2021 Lincoln Nautilus is arriving, and we can expect it to go on sale early next year. Lincoln has gained a revamp to one of its best selling SUV, and we must admit, the Nautilus sports a much better look than before.

Generally, most of the changes are visible inside. Unlike the previous model, the upcoming Nautilus features many improvements. It gained a revamped interior, including an excellent 13.2-inch infotainment screen equipped with Ford’s latest Sync 4 technology. However, in some departments, this model remains unchanged.

The 2021 Lincoln Nautilus is the SUV that shares a platform with the Ford Edge. Overall, the design is refreshed, and it sports better styling. It features a revised grille and the same headlight system that we saw on the previous model. Also, the front fascia now has a full-width strip of chrome, giving a visual boost to this SUV.

On the other hand, the side profile reviles some updates, and the standard 18-inch wheels are replaced with the new 20-inch rollers. On the back, the same charming look is present, and Nautilus looks much like it did last year, with minimum modifications.

Cabin Includes New 13.2-Inch Infotainment Screen

Inside, the 2021 Nautilus sports a better look, and it borrows many cues from the famous Aviator and Corsair models. Generally, this model includes plenty of improvements and more luxurious styling. It comes standard with the largest among Lincoln’s lineup 13.2-inch infotainment screen and it features a new 12.3-inch digital gauge display, providing every piece of information in front of you.

Otherwise, unlike most of Lincoln’s models, the new Nautilus has Sync 4 latest supports and includes standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Besides, the Nautilus also includes an 11-speaker audio system and a 4G LTE–powered onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. Many more features can be found on the upper trims. Fancy Black Label models now offer two new interior themes, Chalet and Flight.

2021 Lincoln Nautilus Powertrain Specs

The latest 2021 Lincoln Nautilus features some changes and updates that don’t affect the engine. That means, like before, the new model will keep the same powertrains. It includes a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit that delivers an excellent output of 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

This engine provides an excellent EPA city/highway fuel economy of 21/26 mpg (FWD), 20/25 mpg (AWD). The optional engine is more potent using a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V6 good for 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Like the previous model, both engines share the same 8-speed automatic and they can tow up to 3,500 pounds. Also, both variants include a start/stop system that cuts power at idle to save fuel.

Release Date and Price

The latest 2021 Lincoln Nautilus looks refreshed and more attractive. Also, for 2021, this model gained a revamped interior, including new 13.2-inch infotainment. According to Lincoln, the new version should go on sale early next year, and expect pricing to be revealed soon. Acura MDX, Cadillac XT5, and European models like BMW X5, Mercedes GLE, and Volvo XC90 are the competitors of the latest Nautilus.
