One of the best minivan on the market Honda Odyssey is getting a facelift. The new 2021 Honda Odyssey is arriving and according to the manufacturer, we can expect this model to debut later this year.

As you probably know, Odyssey is the best-selling minivan in the U.S. The new minivan comes with an attractive design and family-friendly driving experience that’s hard to beat. In the same segment with Odyssey are models like Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna minivans, offering similar room and power. However, Honda’s flagship minivan have excellent resale values thanks to its durability and advanced safety features.

Will the 2021 Honda Odyssey Be Redesigned?

Visually, the upcoming 2021 Honda Odyssey will not depart too much from the predecessor. The same design is present with some small refreshments. LX that is base trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, halogen headlights, and rear privacy glass. However, Odyssey Elite is the most equipped model. Choosing this trim, customers will get new 19-inch alloy wheels, power-folding exterior mirrors, LED headlights, and more.

Interior Comes With Plenty of Upscale Materials

The cabin of 2021 Honda Odyssey has been packed with practicality-enhancing features and technologies. This minivan is for sure, one of the best in its class. It offers an excellent and comfortable cabin followed by plenty of upscale materials. The Odyssey also features a new digital gauge cluster and a big 8-inch touch screen on the entry-level LX trim. Moreover, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, which we regularly use are available on all trims except the LX.

Like before, LX is a 7-seater minivan, while all other Odysseys trims provide seats for eight occupants. Two adults and a child can fit on the third row comfortably. The Odyssey EX (and above) features Magic Slide 2nd-row seats, power-sliding side doors and an advanced infotainment system. Besides, the safety of the Odyssey is excellent. This minivan includes a lane-keep assist, active cruise control, blind-spot system, and automatic high-beam headlights.

The new minivan 2021 Honda Odyssey rides on the strong platform. Thanks to that, this model can deploy a mighty engine. According to the latest news, this model will be powered by the same 3,5-liter direct-injected V6 engine. This powertrain sends 280 horsepower to the front wheels.

Also, it uses a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel. Fuel-saving Idle-Stop system is now standard and we assuming more improvements in this department. However, the current model offers fuel economy in city/highway 19/28 mpg.

Release Date and Price

One of the most selling minivans Honda Odyssey will be redesigned. This model is trendy among large families. It provides a comfortable cabin and plenty of upscale materials that cannot be found in any other models. According to some rumors, the new model 2021 Honda Odyssey could arrive later this year. As for the price, most likely that this model would continue to be affordable and starts at 30,000.
