2021 Dodge Barracuda Design

The actual design of the newest 2021 Dodge Barracuda is still a mystery. Some of the renderings appear, and if we can believe them, this model looks almost identical to the Challenger.

At first glance, this muscle car looks aggressive and it comes with a neo-retro design as silhouettes of iconic Plymouth Barracuda. Generally, the same square LED headlights are present and on the side, the manufacturer adds openings for better engine cooling. From what we heard, the latest Barracuda will come with a wheelbase that is shorter than on the Challenger model. To analyze, the Challenger measures 116 inches, so we are assuming that the Barracuda’s wheelbase will be somewhere between 105 and 110 inches.

Interior Rumors

The interior of the 2021 Dodge Barracuda is an even bigger mystery. At this moment, there is no clue what layout Dodge will use. From many gossips, the cabin will consist of two comfortable seats in the front and a three-person bench in the rear. However, we think that the rear compartment will provide seating for only two people, as many nowadays model with coupes style.

Tech-wise, the new 2021 Barracuda will use most of the latest techs available on the market. So, expect a large infotainment display on the center of the dashboard. Most likely that seven to eight inches screen could be standard, while at least 10 inches optional. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot will probably also come standard.

Dodge remains silent, regretting the engine of the upcoming Barracuda model. However, we heard a couple of interesting rumors. Firstly, this model will not arrive with the iconic Hemi V8 engine, and it will most likely come with a different type of machine. Plenty of gossips suggesting that a turbocharged V6 engine will power this iconic model.

Also, it’s not excluded that the manufacturer uses a famous 2.4-liter four-cylinder Tigershark. Lastly, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 is another exciting outcome. As you probably know, the same engine also powers the Dodge Durango SUV. Under the Durango model, this unit delivers 293 horses. However, we think that Dodge Barracuda will use some sort of turbo that will provide at least 600 horses. All-wheel-drive will be optional for sure, while we can expect both manual and automatic transmission.
