The base one uses a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and is available on the trims L and LT trim levels. This engine is potent and it produces 193 horses and 188 lb-ft of torque. Besides, it comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission that comes as standard.

According to Chevy, the fuel economy is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. The next engine comes optionally and standard on the trims 2LT and 3LT. This powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine capable of making 230 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of twisting power. FWD is standard like on the first one, while fuel economy is measured 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Lastly, the most potent engine is a 3.6-liter V6. With such a powerful engine, this model generates 308 horses and 270 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is the same as with the previous powertrain.

Price and Release Date

The entry-level 2021 Chevy Blazer that comes with front-drive L trim starts at $28,800, plus a destination charge of $1,195. Next is the 1LT model, that provides extra equipment for $33,495.

The most expensive trim is an all-wheel-drive Premier model that includes driver aids and plus a few other goodies. This model reaches $53,445. Chevy will launch its new Blazer in the last quarter of this year.
