The all-new 2021 Cadillac Escala is the upcoming luxury brand’s flagship sedan that looks modern and stylish. This model was first time introduced as the concept model in 2016. However, after more than four years, we have some information that production will start soon.
The Escala Concept is the sedan that future attractive design. This model represents pure American luxury. Its front fascia dominates with a bold grille that hosts a three-dimensional precision pattern. On the back, the story continuous with warm vertical lighting and OLED lighting elements set deep into the sculpted fascia.
Luxury and Spacious Interior
The cabin of 2021 Cadillac Escala will be modern and techy, for sure. As we mentioned, this model shares a platform with the CT6 sedan. Firstly, thanks to that, we can expect a spacious cabin and probably many latest techs. The final version will definitively keep the same styling as the concept. Like the Cadillac CT6 model, the new Escala will also use the same powertrains. If you remember, this sedan comes with two engine options. Moreover, the first engine that powers this model is a 3.6-liter V6 making 335 horsepower and it drives all four wheels (AWD).
The next one is more powerful and it also powers Corvette models. This unit consists of a twin-turbocharged 4.2-liter V8 that produces a whopping 550 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. All models will come with a fuel-saving stop/start feature as standard.
Price and Release Date
The new 2021 Cadillac Escala will introduce better lines than the concept model. This model looks elegant and sporty at the same time. Besides, it offers a comfortable and luxurious cabin.
Interestingly, the new model sits on the same platform as the CT6 platform and it has plenty of benefits because of that. According to the latest news, the all-new model will be made at GM’s Hamtramck plant alongside the Chevrolet Volt, Impala and Buick LaCrosse. Pricing would, in theory, be around $100,000 mark, which is 10k more than CT6. We have information that the all-new Escala won’t go into production until December 2020.
